Beefarming
sessions

We hold experience days between April and September at Studley Castle (Warner Leisure) located a mile from Studley Village Warwickshire. These can be purchased in the store or via your stay at the castle (speak to the events team).

All equipment is provided with sessions lasting around 2 hours. These also include a jar of honey to take home and enjoy.

The experience covers basic beekeeping and interaction with the hives and bees. Advice will be given to anyone interested in taking up beekeeping as an interest.

The latest sting-proof bee suits ensure the experience is safe and enjoyable for all.

Bees were kept at the Castle over 100 years ago when Studley Castle was an agricultural college serving the midlands.

Seeing the bees return after many decades was a personal goal of mine, for people to enjoy once more.
